FCBM YOUTH ALIVE FOR CHRIST / SENT FORTH YOUNG ADULTS (SFYA)
About SFYA
Meaning:
The word “Sent” comes from the Greek apostellō, meaning to commission, set apart for special service, send with authority, and dispatch on a mission. This reflects the heart of SFYA—young adults commissioned and empowered by God to live with purpose.
“As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” — John 20:21
Who Is It For?
Sent Forth Young Adults (SFYA) is designed for young men and women aged 19 to 30 who desire to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, enjoy fellowship, and learn godly principles that will launch them confidently into adult life.
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers.” — 1 Timothy 4:12
What Do We Do?
SFYA meets once a month for food, fellowship, fun activities and outings, along with inspiring and practical teaching from the Word of God. Our gatherings are welcoming, friendly, open, and relaxed, with strong emphasis on participation, questions, and shared insights.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship.” — Acts 2:42
Where Do We Meet?
Our Young Adults Ministry meets at various locations across the city. Please check our website regularly for details of the next event happening near you.
Our Vision:
The vision of SFYA is to gather, equip, and empower young adults to understand their identity and calling in this season of life, so they can take hold of their God-given destiny and live a fruitful, victorious Christian life.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it.” — Philippians 1:6
“I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10
