The Bible

The Bible is the mind of Christ and is the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

The Scriptures

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men moved by the Holy Spirit. We accept the New Covenant as our infallible guide. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

The Godhead

Our God is one, manifested in three Persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Philippians 2:6)

Man, His Fall and Redemption

Man is created in God’s image but fell through sin. Jesus Christ shed His blood to redeem mankind. Salvation is by grace through faith. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8–10)

Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ

Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, yet without sin. (Matthew 1:22–23; Luke 1:35)

Eternal Life and New Birth

The new birth is necessary for all and produces eternal life. (John 3:5; 1 John 5:12)

Commandment of Love

God commands us to love Him and love our neighbours. (Matthew 22:37–40)

Water Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of dying with Christ and rising to new life. (Romans 6:4)

The Lord’s Supper

We partake of communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. (1 Corinthians 11:24–30)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Believers receive power and gifts through the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is not a requirement for service.

Sanctification

Holiness is a progressive work of grace throughout the believer’s life. (Hebrews 12:14)

Divine Healing

Healing is provided through prayer and faith and is part of Christ’s atonement. (James 5:14–15)

Blessed Hope

Jesus will return to gather His saints. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)

Body of Christ

Each believer is a member of the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 1:22)

Total Prosperity

Tithes & Offerings

Believers give tithes and offerings to support God’s work and care for others. (Malachi 3:8–12)

Reality of Satan

The reality of Satan and his present influence over unregenerate man exists.

Christian Foundations

• Deity of Jesus Christ
• His sinless life
• His miracles
• His atoning death

Fall of Man

Man’s fall requires rebirth through belief in Jesus Christ.

Reconciliation to God

Through the substitutionary death and shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Return of Christ

Jesus will return, resurrect the saints, and reign eternally. (Acts 1:11)

Hell & Eternal Judgment

Those who reject Christ face eternal separation. (Revelation 20:10–15)
